I met my husband by phone. He was a client. After chatting several times, we met for lunch. We ate omelets garnished with grapes. He has never forgotten the grapes. We had dinner the next week, but I couldn't eat a thing. Butterflies filled my tummy. At dinner the following week, he proposed and I said yes after I finished my shrimp scampi. The next day, I went to church and thanked the Holy Spirit for this wonderful man. Little did hubby know at the time what it mean to have four step-children. Here we are still together after twenty-eight years.
I am a Jersey girl living on the Space Coast in Florida with lots of time to write. We love going to the beach with a big white Labradoodle and a blind Shih Tzu.
I am a volunteer for the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Florida Institute of Technology, the GFWC Melbourne Women's Club, Senior Adventures in Learning and Good Shepard Learning Center. I sew quilts for hospitalized babies and children. I collect box tops and pop tops for schools.
I am a writer now, but have been a married women with four young children, a student, a teacher, and a sales representative.
Oh, yes and I love books, movies, television and the internet. Moreover, I am a perpetual student and teacher. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of the arts, history and people.
